Advice on the healing of a broken collarbone?

I cracked up the middle for the night ... went to the hospital Sunday morning, however, due to the nature of this injury, it is unfortunately little more can be done and a sling. Any advice or experience of this? How to sleep better, easier dressing, etc? In addition, any advice on nutrient-rich foods to help cure my organs? Thanks in advance!

ooh, been there, done that. Always sleep on your back, no sleep on your side. wear loose shirts (which are easier to install and remove), and always put in the hole on the side that first broke. it's easier that way. Also, Always wear your sling! will be tempted not to, but it really helps people remember you have a broken bone. The last thing you want to hit someone behind him (Yes, that happened to me.) Avoid strenuous activities, as they will damage the bone healing. Unfortunately, i did not and did too much to move, what caused my bone to heal properly. cured in one piece over another, and can only be corrected with surgery. AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS !!!!!! As food rich in calcium guess would be the way forward.
